For us as a medium-small sized enterprise the position of a R&D Manager will help to support our fast growing markets and sales team to meet the demands of our customers with up-to-date products. The position will manage all swine related research and provide technical support for sales team.

Tasks:
o Primary responsibility is managing research for pigs or ruminants
o Determining research objectives and design projects to achieve these objectives
o Identify appropriate research locations and manage project execution
o Summarize projects and identify implications
o Transfer research results into product documentation and publications to support our sales effort
o Transfer research results into product development
o Scientific and magazine publications on swine products
o Present selected research results at scientific meetings
o Support EU product Registration projects for pigs
o Write applications for research subsidies
o For technical support
o Be familiar with our products and their application
o Give customer presentations

The Profile:
o Vet. MD or degree in agriculture or nutrition in poultry preferably with experience of application of botanicals and spices
o Practical experience in swine husbandry is of advantage
o R&D experience, project management skills
o Team player
o Language: English, German

The position of a technical manager will help to support our fast growing markets in Asia Pacific by providing our distributors and customers in the region the latest technical knowledge and information about phytogenic feed additives. The technical manager will help to implement our feed cost saving programs for our customers and prospects.

Tasks :

- Technical sales support (product argumentation, mode of action of products, cost saving opportunities in diet formulation, etc.)
- Technical presentations at seminars, conferences and exhibitions
- Provide assistance in animal feeding trial designs
- Dissemination of technical information update for distributors in the region

The Profile :

- Ph.D. in animal husbandry or nutrition (in monogastrics), preferably with experience of application of botanicals and spices
- Min. 3 years of technical experience in livestock and feed industry (preferably in sales support)
- Practical experience in poultry feed formulation
- Dynamic outgoing personality with international business background
- Excellent presentation skills
- Research experience is of advantage (set up animal trials etc.)
- Willingness to travel internationally within the region (min. 50%)
- Good self organizing skills (able to work independent)
- Language: English, Mandarin mandatory, any other Asian language is of advantage
