As an R&D Species Manager for poultry you are responsible for Research and Development of phytogenic feed additives for poulty. You will be part of our dynamic growth and support a global sales team with new ideas, brought to the market in the form of innovative products that help our customers to continuously master the challenges of modern animal husbandry and food safety.

Your tasks in detail:

o Response to technical inquiries from customers
o Collaborating with our sales team within customer projects (Feeding trials, Consulting)
o Technical support of our sales team
o Determine research goals and develop projects to reach these goals
o Identification of research centers to execute the research projects
o Publication of research results in product documentation and scientific/commercial publicatinos
o Developing ready-to-market products out of research results
o Scientific publications and publications in commercial journals
o Presentation of selected results on scientific conferences, at customer events or seminars
o Requesting public funding for research projects

Requirements:

o University degree in Agriculture (especially Animal Nutrition) or Veterinary Science
o Practical experience in poultry husbandry / animal nutrition is mandatory
o Research experience
o Excellent english skills as well as german language skills
o Preferrably market knowledge about poultry nutrition
o Preferrably experience in the application of phytogenic compounds (Herbs, plant extracts)
o Readiness to travel about 30% of your time internationally
