As R&D manager you will work in a team of R&D managers with the focus on:
Poultry Nutrition.
You will conduct primary research and develop new, commercially viable products and provide the product management with new product solutions.
Your tasks:
o Development of innovative products for poultry according to the product development strategy and in close cooperation with the innovation manager
o Coordinate research projects in close collaboration with product & innovation management
o Identify research institutions & built up a scientific network
o Operational management of poultry trials performed at the Delacon owned trial facility and at external institutions and universities
o Scientific publication of research results in feed magazines & peer-reviewed journals
o Presentation of research results at national & international conferences
o Assistance for product registration according to EC directive 1831/2003
o Raising financial support for research projects & coordination of funded projects
o Support the CTS and sales team by product trainings and meetings with customers

Your profile:
o University degree (M.sc. or higher, preferably PhD) in animal science/ animal nutrition or veterinary medicine
o Experience in feed additive and herbal medicines preferred
o Market knowledge in (poultry) feed additives beneficial
o Practical experience in poultry production beneficial
o Research experience and project management skills
o Team player
o Language skills: Excellent English and German
